Official Rules

Eligibility:

This “CookieRun: Kingdom 2nd Anniversary FanArt Festival”(“Contest”) is open to all natural persons who (1) is a valid user of the CookieRun: Kingdom mobile game, and (2) are AT LEAST 16 YEARS OLD(OR HAVE REACHED AGE OF MAJORITY IN YOUR COUNTRY OR STATE OF RESIDENCE) at the time of entry. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and any condition prohibited by law shall not be applicable.

Contest Period:

This Contest begins on 2022. 12. 26. (KST) and ends on 2023. 1. 15. (KST)(the “Deadline”). Entries shall be accepted starting 2023. 1. 9.(KST)(the “Submission”). All entries must be received by the Deadline. Entries received after the Deadline are not eligible to win.

How to Enter:

Eligible entrants may enter Contest by submitting and uploading their artwork at https://www.crk2nd.com on the beginning of the Submission. All artwork submitted (i) must be original work of the entrant; (ii) may not have been previously submitted to other contest or won previous awards; (iii) must not infringe upon copyrights, intellectual property rights or trademarks of any person or entity; and (iv) must conform to the guideline posted on https://www.crk2nd.comregarding the size, resolution and format.

You will be asked to provide personal contact information, including your in-game nicknames, MID, legal name, email address and/or phone number. If you do not complete all required fields, give false or others’ information, you will be disqualified.

All entries become the property of Sponsor upon receipt and will not be returned.

Limitation of Entries:

Entrants may enter as many artworks as they like. However, duplicate entries are not allowed. If entrants register the same artwork multiple times, only the first shall be recognized.

At the sole discretion of Sponsor, any entry may be removed or disqualified at any time if the artwork (1) depicts lewd, pornographic, sexually explicit, vulgar or profane behavior; (2) contains violent, abusive, harmful, defamatory, or illegal content; (3) displays racially, gender, ethnically or religiously discriminatory content; (4) violates this Official Rules or guidelines set on https://www.crk2nd.com; or (5) is otherwise deemed to be unsuitable by Sponsor for any reason.

Entrants may withdraw their entry by contacting the Support Team, which can be found at https://cs.devsisters.com/en/cookierun-kingdom.

CAUTION: ONCE YOU WITHDRAW YOUR ENTRY, YOU CAN NOT CANCEL YOUR WITHDRAWAL.

Judging and Odds of Winning:

Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Sponsor shall choose prize winners, at its sole discretion, based on the creativity, wittiness and visual appeal of each entry.

Potential winners will be notified individually by email. To claim prizes, potential winner must follow instructions in the email, which may include submission of (1) additional personal information for verification and delivery of the prizes, and (2) grants of rights consistent with this Official Rules. If the potential winner does not provide the required documents within the deadline set in email, the prize shall be forfeited and alternative winner will be chosen.

SPONSOR’S DECISIONS AND INTERPRETATION ON ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE CONTEST AND THIS OFFICIAL RULE ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL RESPECTS.

Prizes:

Prize shall be awarded to total of 18 entries, consisting of 1st Place (3 Winners), 2nd Place (5 Winners) and 3rd Place (10 Winners).

1. 1st Place (3 winners)

3 1st Place winners will each receive the following prizes:

- In-game Title & Profile image

- 50,000 Crystals

- 1 set of “Cookie Run Brick Collection: Everything Bundle”

- 1 set of “Cookie Run Collectible Figures: Brave Edition”

The approximate ARV of each 1st Place is $718.49 USD.

2. 2nd Place (5 winners)

5 2nd Place winners will each receive the following prizes:

- In-game Title & Profile image

- 30,000 Crystals

- 1(one) “Cookie Run Brick Collection: Kingdom Cookie Castle”

The approximate ARV of each 2nd Place is $413.70 USD.

3. 3rd Place (10 winners)

10 3rd Place winners will each receive the following prizes:

- In-game Title

- 10,000 Crystals

- 1(one) “Cookie Run Brick Collection: Sugar Gnome Hut Package”

- 1(one) “Cookie Run Collectible Figure: Gnome's Life” (random)

The approximate ARV of each 3rd Place is $116.89 USD.

Sponsor will bear all costs and expenses associated with the acceptance of the prize, including taxes and delivery fees. HOWEVER, depending on the taxation policy of your country of residence, you may be responsible for taxes; and in such rare cases, SPONSOR WILL NOT REIMBURSE OR INDEMNIFY YOU FOR THOSE EXPENSES.

Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be provided.

Notifications:

Final winners shall be announced on or around 2023. 1. 18. (KST) at https://www.crk2nd.com and at https://twitter.com/CRKingdomEN. All prizes will be shipped out on or around 2023. 2. 10.(KST). to the address winners provided when entering this Contest. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE ADDRESS AND OTHER INFORMATION YOU HAVE PROVIDED. Sponsor and its affiliates will not reimburse or take any other responsibility when the prize is returned as undeliverable due to the lack of or misinformation.

General Terms and Conditions:

By entering this Contest, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by this Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries that it believes have violated this Official Rules, CookieRun: Kingdom’s Terms of Services and other Devsisters Policies, which can be found at https://policy.devsisters.com/en/terms-of-service/, infringed third parties’ intellectual property rights, or it determines that fraudulent methods such as account theft, abusing, macro or automated entry software etc. have been used to enter or win the Prizes.

Winners permit Sponsor and its affiliates, to use winners’ MID and/or nickname, title of the artwork and artwork constitution and likeness for all purposes including, but not limited to, in advertisements of any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.

All entrants consent and grant Sponsor the copyright, derivative rights and other intellectual property related rights regarding submitted artworks upon their entry. Each entrant hereby represents and warrants that it owns the artwork submitted by him/her, and that the artwork does not violate copyright, trademark rights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity. Sponsor reserves the right to use any ideas or concepts contained in the submitted artwork for any and all purposes including, but not limited to, developing and marketing products. Each entrant acknowledges, understands and accepts that there shall be no further payment, consideration, royalties or other forms of compensation from Sponsor and its affiliates for any and all use of the artwork. If the local laws of an entrant’s residency prohibit and/or limit granting of the aforementioned rights to Sponsor, the rights mentioned shall be modified to grant Sponsor the maximum rights possible to use and exploit the artwork under such local laws.

SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION TO MODIFY, SUSPEND OR TERMINATE THE CONTEST.

THIS OFFICIAL RULES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND INTERPRETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA. Any claim or dispute with entrants and Sponsor relating in any way to this Official Rules, will be SUBJECT TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE COURTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA.

No Liability:

By entering this Contest, entrants agree that DEVSISTERS CORP., ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES INCLUDING STUDIO KINGDOM CORP., SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR INJURY TO AN ENTRANT OR ANY THIRD PARTY RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZES.

PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” BASIS WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES.

Privacy:

The personal contact information you provide regarding this Contest shall be collected and used by Sponsor, its subsidiary and affiliates only for administering this Contest, in accordance with Devsisters Privacy Policy(https://policy.devsisters.com/en/privacy/).

Winners’ certain personal contact information will be shared with EFS Co., Ltd. to deliver the Prizes. Please refer to https://efs.asia:300/admin/user_sign_up.asp?lang=KOR for EFS Co., Ltd.’s privacy policy.
